This TT300 is an evolution of Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, Power Yoga and Restorative Yoga. Students will enjoy a unique holistic approach to yoga training... using both hard, more challenging, and soft, less challenging techniques. The recipe for success is to alternate challenging days with easy days, cross-training, and some rest days. This approach will greatly enhance the student's progress, self-confidence, and ability, in all styles of yoga asana practice, and expand to encompass all aspects of a balanced approach, both physically and mentally.

Daily Outline of Course

  • This wonderful experience will be treasured throughout your life. In each daily routine, we lace daily yoga instruction on a split shift, with optional - guided adventures in between sessions.

Our hosts are the artist family Karakas at their lovely and calm property “Estate under the Paintbrush”. Yoga Shala is part of the Estate under the Paintbrush. Breakfast/dinner is served at the Karakas's property too, whilst accommodation on their property is limited and some of the participants will be accommodated in nearby apartments with the equal lodging standard and price range. 

Accommodation is simple and cozy, offering serene surroundings, beautiful gardens and toxic-free space for healing and nurture. Vis island has its own natural resources of drinking water that you can enjoy straight from the tap. Average temperature in September is 25°C with cooling nights.


Enjoy locally grown delicious vegan food and the true joy of living remotely on the unspoilt island of Vis. This is a place where nature tells its own story.

Doug Swenson

Beginning his study of yoga in 1963, Doug Swenson is a master yoga practitioner, philosopher, writer and dedicated health advocate. Over the last three decades, he has incorporated influences from several different yoga systems along with his passion for nutrition and the environment.

Doug has had the fortune of studying with many great teachers including Dr. Ernest Wood, K. Pattabhi Jois, Ramanand Patel, and many others.

Doug has incorporated influences from several different yoga systems along with his passion for nutrition and the environment to develop his unique approach. Over the years he has authored several books; "Yoga Helps", "The Diet That Loves You Most", "Power Yoga for Dummies" and "Mastering the Secrets of Yoga Flow" and coming soon “Pioneering Vinyasa Yoga”.

Doug is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT-500 with the Yoga Alliance) and travels extensively offering workshops, retreats and teacher training courses around the world. Don't miss the opportunity to study with one of the world’s top instructors. Doug's classes are always invigorating and inspirational and his supportive style of teaching and a keen sense of humor send his student’s home with a smile on their face and a softness within their heart.

Lea Loncar

is a dedicated yogini, with over 25 years experience in yoga. Her background is in various yoga styles and traditions (Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Integral, Sivananda and Therapeutic yoga), which she has studied in India, USA, and Europe with great teachers including Swami Satchidananda, Swami Ramananda, K.Pattabhi Jois and his family, and many others. Lea is also deeply inspired by Buddhist Vipassana meditation and is an advocate of the vegan culture. Her work and writings have inspired and motivated hundreds of people to change their lifestyle habits, and improve their health. Lea is the founder of a Scandinavian yoga center Zenit Yoga and an associate at the Institute for the Health in Split, Croatia. Besides yoga, her formal education is Master's in psychology from a Norwegian university, with work experience as a university lecturer and HR consultant for international companies.
