Instructors

Sandra Jelly
Sandra is going to be your instructor for this yoga retreat. Through the embodied practice of Vinyasa Flow yoga, she invites you into a relationship of depth within yourself where listening is cultivated, the body is honored, and playful, creative exploration is welcomed. On opening to the connection with the ground and calling-in and welcoming home all of yourself, postures, breathing and meditation will become things that happen rather than things you do. Expanding your awareness and integrating more of yourself is gently supported by interacting with horses. They reflect our state of being in the moment and allow us to transform limiting beliefs in order to become fully present. The horses have been guiding Sandra Jelly– artist, designer and coach – since 2009 from Amsterdam advertising world into Bedouin horse world of Petra, Jordan. She invites guests into the desert to share her heart opening experience of becoming powerful in ones vulnerability.

"Overview of the best of Jordan"
Gail Reid was an excellent agent - planned around all my desired wishes and suggested other things to do and see in Jordan. I hadn't visited a Muslim country before, so she gave me a quick rundown of expected behavior which was very helpful. I traveled solo all around the country, visited the famous sites (Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash, Aqaba, etc.) and not so well known ones, eco-lodges, riding horses and camels, scuba, great food (and cooking lessons), wonderful homestays and B&B's, museums, history, competent and reliable transportation. I spent a very memorable month learning , meeting friendly and informative people. Despite being a single woman traveling alone, I never felt threatened or concerned with my safely. Jordan has so much offer to the curious open minded traveler. Please consider Jordan for a unique and truly life changing adventure." - From TripAdvisor

    "Jordan as Requested"
Our whole trip was organised by my wife through the guys at In2Jordan. Normally I would be the one to spend my life on the net looking for the best deals etc. With Gail and Carmen's help our trip was arranged to the exact specs that were requested, ie time, budget, activities. We booked our flights separately but this was absolutely no problem. Best way to travel around the country is with an Arabic speaking driver. We had two, both very friendly, very helpful, local Jordanian guys. (Thank you so much Osama and Ibrahim) Talking to them out on the road gave us a very needed education as to what the country we were in was about. Recommendations of where to eat, what to see etc. were all very much appreciated. They were also extremely flexible about the timetable of our itinerary. If we wanted to spend more time here, less there, be picked up later or earlier, nothing was too much trouble. Jordan is an absolutely fabulous country with some iconic scenery, especially Wadi Rum (Hello Matt Damon as The Martian and Peter O'Toole as Lawrence of Arabia) and the Nabatean city of Petra (Hello Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones). There is, of course much, much more than those snippets. In Petra alone we spent 2 days (16 hours of walking) just looking at all this ancient city has to offer. It's gobsmacking now but in its day it must have seemed like a miracle had sprung forth from the desert. Overall I would totally recommend In2Jordan's service. It's professional, courteous, flexible and worth the price. Yes, you could probably do it cheaper on your own but, unless you speak Arabic or are an exceedingly adventurous soul, or you have all the time in the world to organise such a journey, then the organisational help that you get from these guys is indispensable. "Our week in Jordan"
"Some where else on Trip Advisor I described some facets of our trip to Jordan. We planned the trip with Gail Reed of In2Jordan and she and her colleagues were most helpful. She suggested itineraries and then they were amended based on our questions and her prompt responses. Our short time in Jordan was well spent but, in retrospect (our fault) we could have spent an additional week. She also proposed hotels all of which were excellent, as were the guide and driver provided to us. We did get to see the highlights we had selected but could have used an entire extra day at Petra - guess we will just have to go back some day, inshallah." - From TripAdvisor

    "Simpy amazing"
"Hi Carmen,When making online enquiry, we were connected to Carmen. She customised our six-day trip in Jordan. We were extremely satisfied with the itinerary that Carmen prepared. All the hotels we stayed were really good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jordan. It has so much history and rich culture. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful. We we’re so fortunate to have Shadi of Armani Tours taking us around. He was awesome. We learnt so much from him. He is truly an ambassador for Jordan. He took us to places where locals go and eat. He introduced us to so many people. It was fun travelling with him. He as a great sense of humour. He made a huge difference. " - From TripAdvisor
