Day 1: (D) Meet & greet at Amman Airport followed by a short transfer to our community stay with local women in Iraq Al Amir, a green and peaceful valley close to Amman. Beautiful local dinner served by a very welcoming staff. Simple facilities in shared room or sleeping on the roof. Your stay will help develop this beautiful location and empower local women.
Day 2: (B, L, D) A yoga session to ground and become present in Jordan. After breakfast we will travel South for our Desert Escape in Wadi Rum. On the way we will lunch in Dana with great views over this valley. Arrival in afternoon at our eco camp in Wadi Rum. Explore the valley of the moon. Yoga and Dinner. Sleeping in a Bedouin tent or under the stars.
Day 3: (B, L, D) Sunrise yoga session. Breakfast. Camel ride to experience this breathtaking World Heritage site like a nomad. Take in this majestic scenery of the ancient valleys and towering weathered sandstone mountains rising out of the pink and white sand. Optional horse riding in the afternoon. Acro Yoga at sunset. Bedouin dinner. Desert dance at the fire and spirit wander under the desert stars or in a genuine Bedouin tent.
Day 4: (B, L, D) A yoga session to activate those legs in preparation of your exploration of Petra. After breakfast, transfer to Petra with great views over Petra mountains. Visit little Petra – a small yet impressive Wadi or valley offering an impression of things to come. Short walk to our lunch location. In afternoon walk to our private camp location for meditation, yoga and a bbq dinner. Sleep under the stars (no toilet facilities)
Day 5: (B, L, D) Yoga to awaken our spine and a breakfast suitable for explorers. Our local guide meets us at the camp to enter Petra through the little known entrance to the Monastery. The walk starts with glowing land, then contours around the mountains with beautiful views to the Wadi Araba desert and finally leads to perhaps Petra’s most awe-inspiring monument, the Monastery. Stop for a picnic lunch and then continue to pass the Colonnade street and see the Royal Tombs, Theater and of course the Treasury. We will leave this impressive site through the serene, high walled and colourful Siq and stop at the Cave Bar for a drink. Transfer to the Ammarin camp for refreshment, dinner and a closing meditation.
Day 6: (B, L, D) We start the day with a yoga session in order to awaken the spine, quieten the mind and to center the awareness in the heart. After breakfast we head for a horse coaching session in nearby stable and let the horses inspire us on our life path. We will have lunch boxes so we are flexible that afternoon day: do you like to relax, climb those rocks, enjoy a thai massage, ride a horse or explore Petra a second time to visit The High Place of Sacrifice? It is up to you. We meet again for a sunset yoga session in our camp.
Day 7: (B, L, D) We start the day again with a heart centering yoga session. After breakfast we have another horse coachings session. We will enjoy lunch at the camp. Thereafter is leisure time or you can opt for a thai massage or a horse ride. Late afternoon yoga session. Dinner and overnight at Ammarin camp.
Dead Sea Zen
Day 8: (B, L, D) After our morning yoga session and breakfast, we say goodbye and your driver takes you on a breathtaking scenic transfer to the Dead Sea. At O Beach you will enjoy a wonderful mud & float session, have lunch, relax at the infinity pool, contemplate your journey and get ready to leave this awe inspiring place. Dinner at a local restaurant in Madaba. Overnight in a 3* hotel Madaba.
Day 9: (B) Transfer from Madaba to the Queen Alia Intl. Airport Amman
