"Ttruly grateful for the opportunity I had here."
"The opportunity to participate in a yoga teacher training program was a complete surprise, given my current path, and that it taught by such an amazing person who shares so many of my values was an incredible gift. This training not only helped me deepen my physical practice in yoga, but gave me tools to bring what inspired me on my mat to the rest of my life. I have Liz and Soma Yoga Institute to thank for this invaluable experience, and I'm truly grateful for the opportunity I had here." Yoga Alliance

" It built my confidence and self-esteem from day one!"
"On our first full day of training, once Liz announced to the group that we would do some practice teaching that very day, I felt intimidated. But then as Liz went on to explain what this practice teaching consisted of, I was able to take a deep breath, because as someone who has a passion towards yoga, it was something I had already been comfortable running through myself. The only difference was being able to turn this so-called "doing" into providing verbal instructions and perhaps a demonstration for the learner. I have to say, I am so blessed to have had this opportunity to start practice teaching from the very start. It built my confidence and self-esteem from day one. Then as we continued along this journey, teaching the principles and techniques of yoga safely and completely was beyond achievable. It was a fun process and something I enjoyed learning to do tremendously. Also I felt as if we had the perfect amount of guidance in doing so; being able to receive feedback on our 4 intentions, the order of our class, etc, while still giving us the freedom to be the teachers." "very empowering teaching"
"Liz and Heather, our trainers, created a great, comfortable space for learning, exploration and discovery. They are amazing yoga teachers and shared such an abundance of information with us, really illuminating their love of yoga as a life practice. I learned so much about yoga, the philosophy, the asana practice, how to be an effective teacher. Learning about alignment principles drastically changed my own personal practice, improving it a great deal. Alignment is so important for teaching and maintaining safety for students and longevity of practice. It was also very empowering teaching, it required me to find my voice, something that has challenged me in my life." From Yoga Alliance

" beautiful place to learn and grow"
"Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience and creating such a beautiful place for us to learn and grow. This program expanded my mind to a whole new vocabulary and new way of thinking. There was a very positive atmosphere created for learning. I loved how our morning meditations were linked into our day's activities, for instance when we were learning about the root chakra the morning mediations and pranayama that were offered reflected the qualities being studied. I loved the way we learned the philosophy, studying it together as a group and using it as tools to apply to our everyday life. I also think learning about using intentions and weaving them into the class design will make me more confident as a teacher." From Yoga Alliance

"I loved the program. It has brought together the disparate aspects of my life into a cohesive whole. Diving into the Yoga philosophy is so broadening. The business of Yoga helped launch me into expansive ideas of how to grow my yoga business. The chakra studies deepened my Reiki practice and the acro yoga workshop opened my eyes to possibility. "absolutely recommend!"
"absolutely recommend this 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training to others. I really enjoyed the practical application of the concepts woven in throughout the program. Through the Chakra classes I gained a much better understanding of what they are, how I can relate to them and how they can influence my teaching style. I was also glad that by the end, when we got to the practicum I felt comfortable leading and writing sequences" Nicole Flanagan From Yoga Alliance
