Faq

Once a Traveller makes a reservation, you will receive a “booking request” with the retreat’s check-in and check-out dates, choice of room, number of participants, price and retreat’s policies.

  • The Traveller will make a “Booking Request” on BookingYoga.com using his credit card details.
  • Once a “ Booking Request” is made, you will have up to 48 hours to accept or decline this request.
  • If you accept the request, the guarantee deposit (BookingYoga’s commission) will be automatically debited from the Traveller’s credit card and will confirm the reservation.
  • If you decline or you fail to respond within 48 hours, the retreat will be considered as non-available and the Traveller’s guarantee deposit (BookingYoga’s commission) will not be debited.
  • Once a Traveller makes a “Booking Request”, you will receive an email asking to accept or decline this request within 48 hours.
  • If you accept the request, the Traveller will receive a voucher and the guarantee deposit (BookingYoga’s commission) will automatically be debited from the Traveller’s credit card. You will be responsible for contacting the Traveller and remind him/her of your payment information in order to receive the remaining balance according to YOUR policies.
  • If you decline or you fail to respond within 48 hours, the retreat will be considered as non-available and the guarantee deposit (BookingYoga’s commission) will not be debited from the Traveller’s credit card.

If you fail to respond within 48 hours, the retreat will be considered as non-available and the guarantee deposit will not be debited from the Traveller’s credit card.

The guarantee deposit:

  • Represents 10% of the retreat’s total price
  • It secures the Traveller’s reservation
  • It is BookingYoga’s commission

Upon booking, 10% of the total amount of the event will be withheld from the Traveller’s credit card and will be debited to BookingYoga.com only once you have confirmed the availability.

Once you have accepted the “Booking Request”, this guarantee deposit secures the Traveller’s place.

There is no minimum or maximum number of retreats that can be published on BY, however the more retreats you include on BookingYoga.com, the more visible you will be to Travellers browsing the web.

General

The retreat and all its services given by the Organizer must correspond to the description on BY. It is the Organizer's obligation to guarantee that the establishment corresponds to the following criteria:

  • The accommodation must reflect its standards on every description used.
  • The rooms must be properly cleaned before Traveller’s arrival.
  • Clean towels and sheets must be provided unless stated otherwise.
  • All basic amenities included in the description must be in good working conditions (electricity, heating, plumbing, including hot and cold water, sink and shower amenities).
  • All equipment and devices mentioned in the description must be available and functional (ex: air conditioning, wireless internet, cable and satellite, washing machine and dryer).
  • The pictures provided must be updated to reflect any changes.
  • Any inconvenience that will affect the client’s stay must be reported prior to the arrival in written form only.
  • All health and safety standards must be met.
  • A representative of the retreat must be available to solve any inquiries/problems that may occur within 24 hours of the request/complaint.
  • The Organizer must be compliant in order to deliver yoga classes or any activities related to yoga and wellness. This will be a prerequisite to appear as an Organizer on BookingYoga.com.
  • All of the requests to become an Organizer on BookingYoga.com will be screened and all of the hotels/retreats and services offered will be thoroughly vetted.

In case of noncompliance of the terms above, BY reserves the right to apply the following:

  • Downgrading of the establishment within BY ranking
  • Comments mentioning the travel incident will be included in the Feedback
  • Cancellation of future reservations or even suspension of the retreat profile on BookingYoga.com depending on the incident

How BookingYoga.com works

  • Travellers will make a “Booking Request” on BookingYoga.com using their credit card details
  • Once a “Booking Request” has been made, you will have up to 48 hours to accept or decline this request
  • If you accept the request, the guarantee deposit (BookingYoga’s commission) will be automatically debited from the Traveller’s credit card
  • If you decline or you fail to respond within 48 hours, the retreat will be considered as non-available and the Traveller’s guarantee deposit (BookingYoga’s commission) will not be debited

Payment conditions

  • We only make money if you make money (no fixed costs)
  • Once there is a Booking Request, 10% of the retreat’s price will be on hold
  • If the request is accepted, the guarantee deposit (which will be BookingYoga’s commission) will be automatically debited and will secure the Traveller’s place.
  • You will automatically receive an email with the Traveller’s information in order for the remaining balance (90% of the total amount) to be credited by the Traveller according to YOUR policies.

Pricing

In order to be competitive we require that the price of the retreat appearing on BookingYoga.com is the best available rate advertised online.

Licensing

All partners need to have a license to organize retreats and/or teacher trainings. The Organizer must be compliant in order to deliver yoga classes or any activities related to yoga and wellness. This will be a prerequisite to appear as an Organizer on BookingYoga.com.

Insurance

You need to have hospitality insurance to protect your guests, staff and property.
