Faq

A Booking Request informs the Organizer of your retreat’s check-in and check-out dates, choice of room, number of participants, price and retreat’s policies.

  • Once you have chosen a retreat, you will need to make a “Booking Request” on BY’s payment page using your credit card.
  • Once you have made a “ Booking Request”, the Organizer will have up to 48 hours to accept or decline your request.
  • If the request is accepted, the guarantee deposit will be automatically debited from your credit card.
  • If the Organizer declines your request, the guarantee deposit will not be debited from your credit card. BookingYoga will recommend other retreats in the same location and price range.
  • Once you have made a booking request. you will receive a confirmation regarding availabilities within 48 hours.
  • If the retreat is available for booking, you will receive a voucher and the guarantee deposit will automatically be debited from your credit card.
  • The Organizer will then be in contact with you so that the remaining balance can be paid according to his payment policies.
  • If the retreat is not available, the deposit will not be debited from your credit card. BookingYoga will suggest other retreats with the same location and price range.
  • Please remember to book your flights only once you have received a booking confirmation.
  • The guarantee deposit withheld on your credit card will be debited only once the Organizer has confirmed the availability.
  • The guarantee deposit will secure your place once the Organizer accepts your request. In order to maintain your reservation, please respect the Organizer’s payment time frames listed in the policy tab of each retreat published on BY.

Before you make a Booking Request please make sure that you have decided on which retreat suits you best. If you want to make a request on several retreats, please send us an email with all the retreats (in order of priority) and we will get back to you shortly.

Most of the shared rooms match Travelers of the same gender. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

You can book your holiday separately and write a message to the Organizer in the space reserved for your message on the payment page.

The guarantee deposit is none transferable. If you have made further payments, you will need to contact your Organizer who might be able to transfer your investment to another retreat.

That is perfectly fine. A lot of people travel solo, this will enable you to make new friends and meet new people.

The retreats listed on BookingYoga do not include international airfare (flights). We leave you the option to book the flights that suit your budget and travel dates. Please refer to the “what’s included” tab for all the inclusion and exclusion details.

You can find the information under the “Overview” tab, under “airport transfers”, and in the “what’s included” tab.

You'll need a valid credit card in order to request a booking. You can request a booking using someone else’s credit card if you have their permission. In this case please note the cardholder’s name and confirm that you have permission to use their card.

The retreat inclusions and exclusions are listed in the “What’s Included” tab.

The cancellation policies are mentioned in the “Policies” tab of each retreat. For more information, please contact your Organizer directly. If you do not receive a response within 48 hours, please contact us.

General

We invite you to carefully read these terms and conditions that apply to booking requests made on BookingYoga.com (BY). These general T&C define the agreement governing relationships between BookingYoga.com and the Traveller during and after the booking.

By accessing, browsing and using our website or any of our applications through whatever platform (hereafter collectively referred to as the "website") and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge to having read, understood and agreed to the T&C set out below (including the privacy statement). After the booking request and confirmation have been made, the Traveller is bound to his/her reservation, to the conditions of our service and to the T&C mentioned below.

The guarantee deposit made on BY guarantees your reservation after the Organizer has confirmed your request. Each retreat has its own payment & cancellation policies.

Please note that the guarantee deposit will not be refundable if you don't show up or if you do not respect the deadline according to the time frames of each retreat. You will find the time frames and other T&C in the “Policies” tab of each retreat, on BY’s payment page and in the confirmation email (voucher).

If by any chance the Organizer cancels an event, BY will refund the 10% guarantee deposit.

Once your booking request has been confirmed, the guarantee deposit will be debited from your credit card. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided on the booking form. This confirmation email (voucher) is really important as it will outline and remind you the terms and conditions of the retreat of your choice. This confirmation email will explain in details the payment terms in order to indefinitely secure your retreat.

BY strongly recommends that Travellers print out a copy of the voucher and keep another copy for their records.

BY will not be held responsible for any erroneous information on your booking forms.

Pricing

The prices indicated on BookingYoga.com are highly competitive. The prices mentioned are VAT included with the exception of some of the retreats. This information will be specified in the “Inclusions & Exclusions” tab of each retreat.

Please note that we do not charge any fee for our service, nor do we add additional fees on accommodation prices.

Payment

BY allows Travellers to request bookings by providing us with their credit card information in a confidential and secure manner. VISA and MasterCard are accepted. The price that is displayed on BY is in the retreat’s currency. BY is not responsible for any fees accrued during the transaction.

Confidentiality and Security

When you request a booking on BY, you are asked for your name and email address. You might also be asked for your home address, telephone number, payment information, names of guests travelling with you and your preferences for your stay.

When you visit BookingYoga.com, even if you do not make a reservation, we may collect certain information, such as your IP address, which browser you're using, and information about your computer's operating system, application version, language settings and pages that have been shown to you. If you are using a mobile device, we might also collect data that identifies your mobile device, device-specific settings and characteristics and latitude/longitude details. When you request a booking, our system registers through which means and from which websites you have made your request.

Claims

In case of a dispute or problem between BY and a Traveller, any possible claim will be received in writing only and must be sent within a thirty-day (30 day) period within departure date of your yoga retreat.

If there is a problem between an Organizer and the Traveller, BY cannot be held liable.

Organizer's Obligations

The information that you find on BookingYoga.com is based on the information we receive from Organizers. They have the full responsibility to inform BY if there are any retreat information updates. We aim to provide excellent service; however, we cannot ensure that the information provided by retreats is exact, precise and complete. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible of any errors, imprecise, misleading, incorrect or missing information.

Each retreat is responsible to ensure that the precise, complete and exact information is displayed on BY, at all times.

Visa Requirements and Others

The Traveller must check before departure with the local authorities that all police, customs or health recommendations necessary for their stay have been met. The Traveller is responsible for complying with any airline's terms and has the entire responsibility to meet the passport, visa and health requirements requested by the destination country. BY would not be responsible if the customer is denied boarding or entering the country.

BY recommends all Travellers to consult a doctor well before travel date to ensure all necessary health precautions have been taken.

We also recommend that you have health and travel insurance as a precaution.
