Amanda Fuzes has been operating Prana Space in Rose Bay since 2002. She’s been a yoga teacher for over 20 years and a teacher trainer for 12 years. Amanda brings her high level of experience to every class. She specialises in offering suitable options for students managing pain or injury, whilst giving the most pretzel-like contortions to experienced and intermediate practitioners. Her open classes start with cleansing work (kriyas); followed by a tailored asana practice; time for rest; pranayama; and end with meditation. Amanda is also one of Australia’s only teachers who’ve trained at Dharma Yoga New York.
Janetta Glenn has been studying Classical Hatha Yoga for over 25 years & was trained by Natanaga Zhander (Shandor Remete) founder of Shadow Yoga. She has been studying spirituality & meditation for the past 13 years with the Clairvision Meditation school. She guides students in a safe, calm & progressive way. Her classes combine strong legwork & fluid arm movements with deep breath work to strengthen & free the energy in the body’s peripheral channels. This energy increases one’s feeling of being centered, enlivened & more in contact with their lifeforce. She is a senior Level 3 yoga teacher with Yoga Australia, & also a registered Yoga therapist.
Ivy Rivett’s classes are catered to the needs of the participants. Brain & body integration techniques are seamlessly weaved into her hatha yoga classes. Mindful moving is encouraged with great focus on mobility, strength & flexibility of the mind and body. Ivy is also one of our main “Flying Yogis Gurus” – helping to develop our programmes with her informed understanding of growth; hormones; reflexes and development.
