Join me at Mithran yoga for a drop-in class. The classes are suitable for both beginners and advanced students. I would like to emphasize that my classes are not about how agile you are. The most important thing is to experience yoga.
Transformative Yoga, Yin Yoga and Chakra Yoga are the yoga forms that I express in my own way. They are forms of Hatha Yoga, which complement each other beautifully and in which there is plenty of room for deepening and relaxation. The lessons consist of a combination of yoga postures, chakra awareness, breathing techniques, mantra singing, meditation and relaxation.
My name is Aico Dinkla (1974), yoga teacher and artist. I was born in Colombia and grew up in the Netherlands. My adoption was the beginning of my spiritual path. The search for my biological mother symbolized the search for myself. A path full of contradictions, of sadness and loneliness, but also of wonder. The beauty of life with all her special encounters. Ultimately learning to embrace who I am. Being allowed to be.
As a child, I read the spiritual books of my mother and taught them to breathe consciously. In me there has always been the deep desire or even knowing that I would walk this path. Around the age of 25 I went with the idea of not being flexible enough to my first yoga class. I have practiced different forms of yoga, but I missed the spiritual level. Eventually I came into contact with Transformative / Chakra Yoga, this form of yoga opened my heart. It was possible to transform my old grief and thoughts into love. From my strength, to be here and now. Yoga gave me the feeling of coming home. I had never experienced this in my entire life. A magical feeling that caused the turnaround. I decided to further develop and specialize in this form.
After a successful career in fashion and art, I changed course. My floor was transformed into a small yoga studio. I exchanged the stressful and colorful past for a white and serene space. The special thing is that everything comes together now, nothing is for nothing. You can write your own story every day. For example, I now live as a citysyogi, on my woolen yoga mat with iMac. In my Blog I share personal experiences and give more background information about yoga.
With a lot of passion and dedication, I have been teaching yoga since 2007. Through this way, I help the other and remind myself that love is the universal connection.
