The softness and simplicity of the Qi Gong exercises have completely absorbed me from the beginning. The balancing and at the same time energizing effect is of the firstMoment is noticeable, brings us to rest and gives us strength for everyday life.
Regular exercise strengthens and harmonizes the entire organism and generally promotes our well-being.
There are a large number of health-promoting and nurturing exercises in the various directions of Qi Gong. It is practiced while standing, sitting and lying, with or without external movement.
I teach various forms of Moving Qi Gong, such as Medical Qi Gong or Tai Chi-Qi Gong, as well as Breastfeeding Qi Gong or Yi Qi Gong. In Yi Qi Gong, we move little or no and direct the Qi primarily through perception and imagination.
No prior knowledge is needed. And with its gentleness, Qi Gong is learnable for everyone, from young to old.
With yoga I have learned to listen better to my inner voice to live a happier life, even if it is not sorunning around. Yoga helps to strengthen my body and keep my mind fit. In my classes, I teach a dynamic and invigorating yoga style. I value proper posture and correct my students so that they get a better sense of their yoga practices.
Since 2008 I have practiced intensively, different yoga styles. In April 2016, I completed my training (200hrs RYT) according to the Anusara method with Dr. Ing. Suzanne Slocum-Gori completed in Ibiza. In April 2017, followed by a further training (200hrs RYT) in Ashtanga Yoga at Yogi Kamal Singh in Rishikesh, India. In addition, I take part annually in various training courses worldwide. These experiences are unique and always inspire me to learn new things.
It gives me great pleasure to be able to pass on my knowledge to my students and to encourage them to go and live the path of yoga. I teach in German and English.
Yoga is for me a journey to myself.
Through yoga I get to know my body and mind and also my limits.
The challenge is alwaysto go out of the comfort zone, but with the necessary respect for myself.
I have been working as a dental hygienist for more than 20 years and have always had physical discomfort through my work attitude.
Yoga gave me the opportunity to become pain free and to stay.
My teaching is based on Hatha Yoga with Anusara principles.
Anusara Yoga is a powerful hatha yoga that uses its biomechanical alignment principles to pursue a therapeutic and body-friendly approach.
I have been practicing and living yoga since 2004.
On my way I got to know different styles like Kundalini, Jivamukti, Asthanga, Vinjasa, Nidra and YinYang.
In 2014, I successfully completed the 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with Stephen Thomas of Airyoga and in 2016 the 200-hour Teacher Training, based on Anusara Yoga at Katchie Ananda.
I would be very happy to accompany you on your journey.
In my classes I teach Hatha yoga, which primarily involves traditional Yoga postures or asanas, breathing techniques, known as pranayama, and meditation. Through dynamic yet concise and descriptive instruction I allow individuals to experience and accept the sensations that occur in the body and mind. Through gentle stretching and awareness, deep and profound change can begin to take place, the mind and body can relax and be, and new growth can begin. I believe that through unity of body and mind, the practice of Yoga can help us with everyday decisions, goals and expectations. If we can accept ourselves as whole individuals, appreciating each strength and weakness as a unique virtue, then we can accept and allow fluctuations to occur that all give strength in the balance of life and the world around us.
Kathrin: Yoga teacher, NLP coach, designer, marketeer and blogger. I have done my Yoga training in India - not with the goal to teach, butjust to immerse yourself deeply in all that yoga is: backgrounds, knowledge, history, philosophy, meditation, pranayama and of course lots of asana practice.
The plan did not quite work out, it got more out of it, because I hardly started to teach again. And discovered my passion! I teach yoga as the way to ourselves, the meeting with our soul. The best part for me is to see the bright faces of my students at the end of a class. It's so beautiful to see how yoga works, both physically and mentally.
I also teach Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga, a mix of everything (Yoga Alliance Certified, RYT 500). My style is characterized by gentle mindfulness and correct orientation.
My classes are conducted in German or English, geared towards my students.
