We will also cover the asanas(poses), pranayama(breathwork), pratyahara, guided meditation, hands on healing, adjustments, and light massage. We will discuss how to create a restful healing environment for your students, loved ones, and yourself. Restorative yoga is known for it’s gentle, supported poses. The poses are held for 3-5 while utilizing deep diaphragmatic breathing which results in calming the nervous system. This practice is ideal for a wide range of people. Because of the broad appeal of this practice, we will also learn how to work with special populations like students with disabilities, illness, injuries, and trauma.
